Your’e in traffic at the interesection. The beggar is approaching cars. What do you do? Hope the light turns green?
Give him spare change? Ignore him? How about giving him some essentials in Jesus name? Sign Up Here!
The IC is participating in Lifereach by filling 9″x12″ plastic bags with personal hygiene items. Now when you see the homeless person you will have something to give them. Sign Up for the micro mission and we will send you the logoed bags for you to purchase just what you think they need. We will also throw in a green wrist band to remind you. Use the comment section below to share ideas on things we can put in the bags to make a difference. Got questions? Email Robert Davis.

I LOVE this idea!! Keep up the good work you guys. I also love the spare change idea – you know we all have some lying around the house (the car, the cushions…). I keep spare dollars in the glove box that I affectionately call “hobo bucks” and it’s a tradition in our family to spot the guy on the corner and reach in there for the bucks. Anyway, I always think there’s something else I should be giving – so I am excited about this!! Thanks for the privilege to serve!
The most important thing we could provide would be Gods word. Those little pocket size Bibles would be great. Someone gave my husband one and he keeps it in his coat pocket and when hes having a bad day at work he just pulls it out and gets some strength to carry on. It could really give hope and encouragement to a desperate begger that is in need of just about everything but most importantly in need of GOD!!
We just got the packet in the mail for this micro mission! We are excited to do this. I will keep you posted after we have given some out.
