Community Challenge: Marriage Vows

This week on the LifeChurch.tv Internet Campus Community Challenge we talk about the first message in our new series “The Vow.” During the message Craig Groeschel told us about some disturbing statistics about divorce rates and infidelity. If you are married of any amount of time you know it can be a real struggle at times, especially if our priorities are out of sync. This week we challenge everyone to jump into the challenge of praying for 7 days straight with your spouse. Will you join us in the challenge?

My wife and I are doing the book Fireproof, along with the rest of our LifeGroup. We have now added daily prayer into this daily routine that my wife and I have to better our relationship. It is all making so much sense now! God is our number one and through our focus on Him, our relationship is better. Check out the book Fireproof and spend some time praying as a couple!

That is a great idea – and it is cool to hear about your commitment to pray with your wife. Way to go man!

  3. karenb says:

"Less than 1% of couples that pray together get divorced.". Very encouraging.

  4. Being a victim of divorce; both as a child and then as an adult who was married and had a marriage crumble; I am committed to pray with you all, but instead of praying for myself or a future #2, I am opting to pray for The Davis, Donaldson, Steward, Groeschel families marriages.

I have received so many blessings from my contact with LifeChurch.tv and truly want to honor those who've made such an impact on my life, for the best.. May your marriages be blessed beyond your wildest dreams!

Love in Christ ~ Your Brother in Him,
    Danny

  5. Danny, thanks for the prayers. Christi and I appreciate it!
