The Vision

by Renee Tauguay on June 24, 2009

In the last few weeks, I have been browsing the LifeChurch.tv Archives and watched some of the past series. I just finished watching week two of the series “Unstoppable” where Craig paints a picture of his vision for the LifeChurch.tv. I would encourage you to watch or re-watch the whole message. Below are some of the key points.

The very first message Craig preach in his two car garage about 13 years ago was on Acts 2, we’ve all heard the expression of an “Acts kind of Church”, well for Pastor Groeschel, it is move than an expression, it is a vision. Here are the verses he taught specifically on;

All the believers were Together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet Together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate Together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2: 44-47

Because they were united, they were strong. Because they focused on the Kingdom, God added to their numbers daily! These are some of the things Pastor Groeschel is passionate about!

-LifeChurch.tv missions statement is;

“To lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ!”

I don’t know about you, but I love it!! To help people follow the greatest leader that ever walked the earth! Wow! Sign me up!!

-Here is the list of the 5 agreement statments of LifeChurch.tv;

1) We agree to do anything short of Sin to reach people without Christ. 1 Corinthians 9:19

2) We agree to accomplish More with LessMatthew 25:23

3) We agree to accomplish more Together than alone. Acts 4:34

4) We agree that we are NOT a mega Church, but we are a Micro Church with a Mega vision. Mark 16:15

5) We agree that we will make a Difference. Ephesians 3:20

I don’t know about you, but I want to be a part fo that! How exciting!

I found LifeChurch after reading Craig's "Chazown" based on the "Life Development Plan" (2004). Open.org and the ability to find previous messages drew me to my first LCOnline Experience. Church Online was, at first, awkward. As I continued to log on, I got to know others, and now LifeChurch is MY church. Craig, Brandon and Tony are MY pastors and all the LCOnline family is MY family. Who woulda thunk<s>!

I talk a lot about this church. I can only hope that through all the snarky comments I make that people do get how much I admire Lifechurch. It really is exceptional. There, I said it. (grin)

Renee, thanks so much for this great reminder! These wise words help me make a decision I've been pondering for a few days. I appreciate you!
