YTD State of Church Online
This is a presentation of the progress of Church Online for 2009, year to date. I put it together for a conversation here with some of the leaders at the LifeChurch.tv Edmond Campus, but realized we should share it with all of you as well! We are thrilled at the work of God through this ministry and hope that what he is doing speaks as much to all of you! As you view the details below here are a couple helpful definitions:
- Visits means unique visitors to http://live.lifechurch.tv (It is not pageviews) Current means May 2009.
- Attendance means the combination of the totals from each of our experiences on the maximum simultaneous viewers. So, there maybe be 1,000 connections made, but at one point there are 300 connected at the very same time, we would count the 300 as attendance.
- For Visitors and Attendance these are just computer connections, not “people.” In general we have come to find that 1=1.5 people in regards to the these statistics.
- There are only 198 recognized countries/governments/principalities in the world.

Hey guys, this is awesome. I've been thinking about how online experiences would benefit our church. The presentation mentiones 3,109 salvations. That's fantastic! Forgive my naivete (I've only seen your online Easter service), but how do you measure that? Also, how do you deepen their relationship online once they have accepted Christ?

I can answer you second question. Church Online and all physical locations of Lifechurch sends out What's Next's Kits. (Click the What's Next tab in top right if church online blog for more information) The What's Next Kit includes a CD of worship music, DVD for what are nexts after accepting Christ (i.e. getting baptized) and a Bible. Church Online has an online version or a version they will send you in the mail.

Reggie- Online church also offers small groups for discipleship. Having the weekly contact, fellowship, and Bible study with other believers is a sure way to deepen any relationship with Christ
