At the Movies – Watch with Friends!
This weekend at Church Online we start a new series of messages called At the Movies. This will be a series that is a perfect opportunity to invite your friends who are leery of church and wouldn’t usually come. We will be mixing clips of the movies and spiritual insights together for each message, and each week the movie we are going to use will be a mystery!
But how do you invite your friends to come to church with you online?!?
One of the easiest ways is what we call having a “watch party.” Basically inviting friends to come to your home and watch the Church Online Experience together. If you are thinking about having your own “Watch Party” here are some helpful tips and resources:
- Hook your computer up to your TV and some Speakers so that every one can view and hear the Experience better than looking at your Computer Screen.
- When the Experience Video starts, click on the Video Window to make it go Full Screen.
- Invite friends to come before for a meal or snacks. Have hang out time before and after to make it more of a social event.
- Use a Facebook Event to invite your and coordinate with your friends!
- Find a TON of helpful suggestions at http://www.simplechurch.tv

Susan the At The Movies series starts on Saturday July 11, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. CDT. You have not missed a showing. All the times at the top of the Church Online Blog will repeat At The Movies. One og the times should work for you.
Hi Tammy, I live in UK, so its GMT time, I see the next one is tomorrow at 10.00am, but i am not able to see it, is there any showings in the afternoon at GMT time?

Susan we have 19 different times through out the week for you to catch a service. Our list is both in the header above as well at http://internet.lifechurch.tv/times/ . I am sure you can find a time for you!
And to know the GMT times for the CDT experiences just add 5 hours.
