Bring LifeChurch.tv to your College Campus
Recently there’s been a lot of talk about how God is doing something new and fresh at LifeChurch.tv. We can’t always put our finger on it, but most everyone will tell you that God has something exciting in store. I want to tell you about one of the things that God’s leading us toward.
God has put a passion in our hearts for college students. We could not be more excited about what he has in store for us in this opportunity. I believe that college students are in a unique place. They gather just about every day in a central place. They are connected to each other in more ways than many other people groups. They are passionate, creative and just plain awesome. We have the opportunity to give them a place to belong and a place to grow in their relationship with Christ while they’re away from home. This is a huge opportunity and one that we’re uniquely positioned for. Church Online is everywhere. We have been blessed with leaders and volunteers from all over the world, many near colleges and universities. With some time and a lot of effort, I believe that we can create something unique to reach college students where they’re at.
So, this is YOUR opportunity to reach YOUR campus. We are committed to creating something that will work for your campus and will reach your lost and hurting classmates and friends. We’re not entirely sure what this ministry will look like, but we want you to be the driving force behind it. You will help us shape it into something that reaches college students and you will be the one who runs it on your campus. We’ve already got a couple of campuses that are starting it up and we could not be more excited about partnering with you to bring LifeChurch.tv to your campus.
So, you want to bring LifeChurch.tv to your college campus? Awesome.
Here’s the deal. We’re makin’ a list. It’s a list of the 50 college campuses that we’re going to target first. The only question is which campuses should be on it. Will yours be on it? That’s up to you.
So if you’re on a campus, click the button below to sign up. If you know someone on a campus, twist their arm and get them to sign up. If you’re not in college then send this post to everyone you know that’s in college and get the word out. So… get to it!

Re: Cornell University & Ithaca College.
My wife and I live in Ithaca, NY, home to Cornell University and Ithaca College. We are alums of those two schools. We moved back to Ithaca 3 months ago because we believe the Lord wants to start an on-campus, video-venue, multi-site church on these college campuses. We have been seeking Him, connecting with the existing campus ministries, and strategizing on how this is going to happen. Part of our journey has been watching LifeChurch.TV on weekends.
It would be a privilege to connect with you to see if this is a “God-thing.”
God Bless You, Stan & Allison Matusz
Would this include foreign Colleges/Universities?
I’m excited about all of these possibilities that you have listed. Henriques, Stan & Allison and Keith, please email me or fill out the form!
I attended the Family Reunion and I spoke with three young men that had a heart for their college campus. They have started a program if I remember correctly called 1 hour. All they are asking for is 1 hour a week from the students. 15 to 20 minutes worship, 30 minutes for the LifeChurch.tv message on video and then 10 minutes for wrap up. Seems like a very simple and workable program. They are very intentional and excited about what they are doing. I have been praying for them.
God Bless
Filled it out, but my campus is proly not on the 55 list ;p … but you just never know!
It’s a great initiative though – I’m pumped!

Is this going to be more of a church planting initiative, or something online? Are you looking to partner with campus churches or do something completely separate?
