Review: Online Prayer Outreach Event
It was a true pleasure serving online with people from LifeChurch.tv and Healing Place Church Online last Friday. Thanks to all of you who took time to reach out to your Facebook contacts. My prayer is that every one of us would incorporate this type of ministry into our regular interaction on Facebook. (For simple instructions on how to do this, click here.)
Many of us were impacted by the personal interactions we had with people in great need of prayer. After the event, LifeChurch.tv Church Online volunteer Becky Beery said: “Online prayer is powerful because online is where people are; they are looking for community, friendship, connection, someone to care for them and love them, and more. It’s a great way to reach out to people where they are, right then and there. And for those who tend to be more open via chat than they would be verbally or face to face we are helping them too.”
